A restaurant and function venue located in Hartbeespoort is seeking a skilled head chef to join their team. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 6 years of experience as a sous / head chef in an a la carte restaurant and banqueting environment. The role requires the ability to effectively coordinate and manage all aspects of the kitchen operation, with a primary focus on food preparation. The successful candidate must possess extensive knowledge of food and the ability to develop recipes. Additionally, the role requires responsibility for all kitchen control systems and stock management. The candidate must be capable of leading a kitchen brigade and training staff. Only experienced candidates with strong kitchen administration skills will be considered for this position. The environment is fast-paced and demanding. Salary R 15 – 20 K net.
