Set within the Milkhouse, a mixed-use space in the Milk District, Swine & Sons sports a cool industrial-chic vibe complete with high tables and a long bar, while outside, a lively atmosphere draws diners. The menu is compact but plenty enticing with a line-up of American Southern cooking with global touches. Sandwiches are a focus, so be sure to sample everything from their fried chicken sandwich done Thai-style, as well as pastrami melts and burgers. Smoked wings with a Floribama white barbecue sauce are always a good idea. Finish the meal with a soft chocolate chip cookie that has a hearty amount of flaky salt for good measure.
