About Us:
We are opening a new Pub/Restaurant in the picturesque village of Franschhoek and are looking for a dynamic and experienced Pub Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in pub management, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to deliver exceptional service.
Responsibilities
– **Staff Management:** Oversee and coordinate the staff including training, and scheduling. Ensure that staff adhere to the pub’s policies and procedures.
– **Operations Management:** Ensure the smooth running of daily operations, including managing stock control inventory, and maintaining equipment.
– **Customer Service:** Provide outstanding service to customers and address any complaints or issues promptly and create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons
– **Quality Control:** Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and beverage service.
**Requirements:**
– Proven experience in Pub/ Restaurant management or a similar role.
– Strong leadership and team management skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
– Ability to work flexible hours during evenings and weekends.
– Have a friendly and outgoing personality and enjoy working with people.
Fluency in English
POS system experience
**Qualifications:**
– Relevant qualifications or certifications in hospitality management or related fields are preferred.
