A stable organisation in the Hospitality industry is seeking an Executive Chef / Unit Manager to join their team. To ensure that the overall Food & Beverage facility operates efficiently and profitably, while maintaining standards, brand image and company culture.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Adhere to food safety regulations
Train cooking staff
Monitor daily/weekly food and retail inventory
Weekly stock orders
Stock taking
Quality control
Keep all kitchen, front of house and stock areas clean
Inspect kitchen equipment
Manage staff
Stay-up-to-date with culinary trends
Carrying out administrative tasks.

Desired Experience, Skills & Qualification:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Head Chef
Cooking skills
Leadership
Time management
Basic computer knowledge
Point of sale system experience
Cost of sales
Able to train staff
